How to Write an Argument Essay - A Simple System That Will Allow You to Win Any ArgumentWriting an argument essay is difficult. There are so many different types of essay writing, some with a specific structure and others that have nothing to do with the written word at all. I will focus on the latter, and all you need to know about writing an argument essay is the structure that will help you write your argument essay in a manner that will earn you points from the higher levels of your college or university.The first thing that you need to do when you write an essay is to familiarize yourself with all the writing structures that you are going to encounter. In high school you learned that essays had to use four parts - the opening, the middle, the conclusion, and the bibliography. This is basically the same thing that you will use, except instead of using the four sections you will use the four sections of an argument essay.One thing to keep in mind, when you are writing an argument essay, is that it needs to be written as a thought out piece, but it does not need to be thought out in any rigid way. You need to place these thoughts into a well-structured argument, without putting them in one paragraph groupings.Don't put every paragraph after the opening paragraph into an argument. Instead, think about what you want to say, and then put those words into paragraphs. There are some logical inconsistencies in your essay, but those paragraphs will make sense to read. They should be designed to support each other, rather than standing alone.Once you have all of the main points of your essay, use the bibliography to help support all of the supporting statements. Your argument essay can only be successful if the supporting statement is supported by the main points of your essay.The problem with writing an argument essay is that you may find yourself repeating yourself for each paragraph. Remember that this isa thought out piece, and you don't want to bore your reader. All you need to do is to guide the reader through the arguments that are needed to reach the conclusion that you are trying to get across. That is why you need to separate the paragraphs, so that the reader has a brief introduction and summary, followed by each of the arguments, and then concluding with a bibliography of references.Although writing an argument essay can be quite a challenge, it can also be very rewarding. If you are willing to learn a little more about the subject, then you can follow this technique and learn how to write an argument essay that is worth the time and effort that you put into it.
